All-new 2011 XJ has arrived at Jaguar Merritt Island

2011 Jaguar XJJaguar Merritt Island would like to welcome the 2011 Jaguar XJ, the latest rendition of Jaguar's flagship sedan. Meant to be a different breed of cat than its predecessor, the new XJ has returned with a newfound focus on driver pleasures. It features a sportier suspension, faster steering, and lessened body roll. Each of its three engines are the most powerful found in any XJ to this day: a 5.0-liter V8 with 385 horsepower, and two supercharged V8s with a Mercedes-trouncing 470 or 510 horses, all connected to a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters. More important than any of this, the XJ continues to be unique in employing aluminum for its body material, a move that reduces weight by hundreds of pounds and makes it no wonder why this Jag is the most agile cat of all.

The appearance of the 2011 XJ marks a big break with the past, with a sleeker, sinister new look that bears no resemblance to the Jaguar mold. The interior, however, is more traditional, featuring a cabin filled with nicely stitched leather, fine veneer inlays, and chrome and piano-black accents. This big Jag also returns with more interior volume than ever, especially for rear seat passengers. For those seeking the ultimate amount of sheer space, Jaguar again offers every XJ in an optional long-wheelbase model with limousine-grade rear legroom.

You can find the 2011 Jaguar XJ at Jaguar Merrit Island, your best source for new or used Jaguars in eastern Florida.
